The Chairboys start their EFL League One 2023/24 season with the visit to Adams Park of the Grecians who finished last season in 14th place after losing four of their last five games. I am looking forward to this season after some very impressive business over the summer by Matty and I expect the lads to hit the ground running. With all the new faces at AP I have no idea what line up Matty will start with but one thing is for sure the Polecat (Max Stryjek) will be in goal. I will be in attendance once again for the exciting new season and it will be the first start to the season for 14 years without Gareth Ainsworth's involvement for the Chairboys so lets hope we start the new era with a good display from the lads and all three points
So hard to pick the starting but going from the pre season I’d guess 5-2-3 / 3-4-3 max Grimmer Keogh JJ K V-Y. Boyes Potts Leahy McCleary Taylor Hanlan could be totally wrong with that, we seem to have. Very strong squad now.
I am also off to this one, went to the Exeter home fixture in March which I thought we got caught between not knowing weather to stick or go for broke & ended up drawing

Very. And who is on the bench, who isn't and why. I'll be slightly concerned if TJ Barr is ahead of any of the signings because I don't see him as a way to promotion
Taylor must start up front and i'd like to see Vokes start if he's fully fit,TJ needs to go out on loan to gain more experience not start games in League 1 yet.
I’ll be joining Guy for this one and I’m certainly excited to see what sort of football we play. It’s been brilliant under Ainsworth but in all honesty at times the football was hard on the eye. Whether we can be successful or not with a more free flowing / attacking style of play is yet to be seen. I will spend most of the first half asking - who’s he? and that’s our own players
I am looking for a minimum of 5 - 0 here and given the new Ref rules and time added I would like you to finish the match before I leave my club at 8pm. According to the pundits we have been relegated already so no pressure on us then.
