I’m all for grabbing lads from South America.

We land a Caicedo we be pissing glitter.

I can’t see how or any value in keeping Pritch having added Dack & Jobe.

Smart player Pritch but he’s definitely gonna be behind those 2.

Aye and they good on the ball cos the pitches over there are absolute minefields.

I really like Jewi as a sidenote think he will have a bigger role than folk think this season.

Also like that my phone tried to autocorrect ‘sidenote’ to ‘SIDEBOOB’ haha

it reads as if Mowbray thinks he’s already gone let alone might go :D

"Jobe has done well in pre-season, but I see a 17-year-old boy," said Mowbray. "I see a 17-year-old boy with lots of personality and lots of opinions on football, and he's very driven to try to create and carve out his own career.

"I'm pretty sure he’ll get there, but at this moment, in my mind, unless he over-excels, he'll be sharing game time with Dack and Rigg. We will rotate around in that position, and I think we can afford to do it because of the players we've got there.

"We've got a really exciting 17-year-old and a really exciting 16-year-old [Rigg], and then we've got a lad in Dack who's missed two years because of two cruciate injuries. I think the young ones will learn massively off Dack, and yet Dack won't play 46 games for us. Neither will Jobe or Chris. We'll roll them around and rotate them about, and see if we can get the best out of them as we go."

It’s telling that Mowbray keeps talking about goal threat with Dack (and indeed Rigg) and then discounting Pritchard. Considering how few goals Pritchard scores. Perhaps there’s more to it than just freeing up wages, and Mowrbray simply wants a player who scores there more valuably than a creative asset like Pritchard

Pritchard can be a great player on his day, but his goal and assists stats are really poor.

I think it's a smart move from the club to offload if they can get a couple of million for him.

Listen we all know Pritch is a quality player, he absolutely is.

Do we get value for the club from his time on the park though? No, we don’t.

He can be a main man somewhere, but it ain’t gonna be here.

My issue with pritchard is his consistency. Love watching him when hes on it as gis movement is class n touch is a joy to watch. But he doesnt show it consistently, last season he had 1 great game then 3 poor games

Wouldnt be disappointed if he stayed but as prehab said he'll be on a decent wage so probably makes sense selling him n reinvesting into a CM/CF

I like Pritch he’s class, really smart streetwise player who effortlessly brings others into the game but it looks like his legs won’t last much longer and his threat around the box has reduced in his time here.

I suppose that depends what overpaying constitutes. Is he worth 3m in the league he plays in but we think he’s worth 5m as a championship player then we could “over pay” at 4m but still be getting good value.

With 9 subs I wouldn't be firing Pritchard out the door unless freeing up his wage gets the forward we need over the line....time will tell.

We can’t be stacking CMs on the off chance one has a dip though, makes no sense.

Unlikely that Dack, Jobe and Rigg all fall. I like Pritch and he’s been a good player for us but he looks the obvious odd man out.

He can’t play 90mins and he’s patchy even when on form.

    Lovely ability no question.
