Yeah I get that but the vast majority of teams will do that this season and on paper this is one of the worst so it doesn't bode well on that front.

We had 23 shots, 7 on target. TBF Edozie did get in behind the RB a lot, he just needs to find the right ball when he gets there. I think Amo-Ameyaw will be really exciting. Charly was beaten up a bit tonight but he'll be key.

With all of those yellow cards we are going to need a bigger squad for sure.

 

Very promising start.

First half we were excellent. Total control of the game.

Second half initially it looked like they had sussed us and got their goal. However, we didn't let our heads drop and didn't compromise on our way of playing. Some can take the piss out of the number off passes we do, but they are short and quick - there is so much going on that it is difficult for the opposition to keep tabs on everyone. That's how JWP ghosted in to pass to Che.

The extra 9 mins were actually a joy to watch. A masterclass on how to see a game out.
