If they play this amount of injury time as the norm from now on, the stadium of light is going to be just about empty at the end for most games.
I'd be fuming if our Red n White shirt had been messed around like Saints has. Leave the stripes alone ffs
Aye, Southampton haven’t always been stripes though, they’ve often deviated. Traditionally I think is red up middle and white sides rather than stripes.
Notable that the ball is in play less as you go down the leagues. And from our experience the **** house tactics get worse the lower down the leagues you go....
are they going to keep it up though..i mean i expected a bit of a show for the first couple of weeks as we have seen in previous seasons but there were 6 added on the first half and i cannot remember a 'decent' stoppage so wtf are they going to add for a 'feisty' type of game and full use of the 9 subs, going to have to look at 10 - 15 easy and i cannot see the players bowing down first.
That Southampton shirt is the worst 'jazzing up' of a traditionally plain red and white striped top I've ever seen. Rancid. Makes our awful 2018-19 thin stripes home top look world beating.
So Don Goodman just had a go at Palmer for not tracking JWP but said nothing about Bannan just letting him run off him in the first place. Does Bannan pay Sky for good PR?
I like it. It’s an exact copy of one of their kits from the 80s (bar sponsor) there’ll be some significance behind it. ****ed if I know what that is like.
They should keep it up for as long as the players take the piss. 9 added onto the second half now. So that's 16 in total. I'm not arsed if it's 3mins or 30mins added on as long as its justified.
oh aye, anything that stops the sh1thousery tactics is welcome, little bit of a show here though with kevin friend in the crowd, i really hope they stick with it.
Just Googled it Saints had same kit in 1987, it does look like one of the Denmark shirts from same era though aye
