Surely absolutely anyone they deal with now is just going to ask for £20m for their player seeing as they've openely admitted to being able to pay up to that amount per player.

    So weird.

We should just reply to it...

Here, Moyes, we've got someone to fill the CDM position you're after.

He's a bit injured at the minute, but should be firing on all cylinders soon. Corry Evans.

    £20m please.

:emoticon-0102-bigsm Nee-one wants to blow bubbles with the mood hoover.

Surely that's just a shambolic approach to recruitment no?!

There's five players in there who were very good for us overall. Would love Cattermole to still be in our side.

FFS...all i see now are people wanting to ask TM about transfers, then pick apart the one line that they see as a 'negative', TM is 'old skool' and does not want to disappoint the fans which sometimes means he tries to give answers rather than playing dumb all the time...of course he will have some input regarding transfers but i also think that once he puts a suggestion in then it is out of his hands until the recruitment team (negotiators) get a result.

then we have the 'must be stupid as there cannot be any other reason for it' brigade who keep asking why have a billionaire owner if he will not spend his money...remember Mr Short?

we have been a div 3 club for a while, just because we got promoted does not automatically mean we must expect to become a premier league team (there are 23 other clubs in this league aiming to do the same), it will be a struggle and i hope that this current model will see us promoted with a good group of players, young with experience to keep us there, adding the vastly improved income we can then progress further.

will it work?...i honestly cannot answer that but so far the difference within the club has been amazing, this far it is working well and that (imho) means the club has earned some time and possibly the odd 'hiccup' along the way, we have seen some great football but it has not been without some mistakes and i honestly feel this time we will still see the football but with far fewer mistakes.

    Worth a read

"I think they'll probably be a little more experienced, they're not going to be kids who've never played men's football before. They'll be footballers who are very talented, just on the cusp of their international teams, playing in a league that we think we can go to and take their best players. We don't pay the very top dollar in this division but we feel we can find really talented players and give them that exposure, and then we can have a real footballer on our hands.

"It's not about getting household names because they already have that reputation and they can earn beyond what we pay. The idea is to get these players and turn them into household names over a year or two."

Could be the Ukrainian and Aravinda based on those comments? “Not kids” definitely suggests Ukrainian as I think he’s 24?

Sounds good to me, allow the national teams do all the prep and we'll take the best of them for our squad <laugh>

****ing love the idea there are two of them coming as well. As long as both have the flexibility to play the wide or up top, it will be great. We are looking short out wide

he said they’re both attackers. Isn’t Dagba a defender (albeit an attacking one)?

Some have mentioned he often played on the right of midfield for Strasbourg last season. I haven’t verified that myself, mind.

Yeah I’d be happy enough with those 2 the Chilean looks very good, not as sure on the Ukrainian lad looks more of a winger than a striker from the clips I can find (would name them but will butcher the spelling) be interesting to see what we get for lihadji too

Likely to be players like this as both close to their national squads.

Id really like both as they offer loads of flexibility in the final 3rd
