He 'can' cover across the back 4, but more naturally plays on the right. I guess Tripps might struggle with a full season, with European games added. And then beyond this season I expect he may need replacing. So yeah, good to have someone in who can learn from Tripps while he's still playing. And instantly adds some versatility to the back 4.
There is actually deck chairs too, one with a towel placed on it blew into the deep end of the pool and when they looked for some chivalrous guy to dive in the pool to save the stuff I looked away and Laughed
EH has started a maximum of two more signings after Livramento. A right centre backs And Chiesa on loan (wishful thinking) Though linked to Edison Alvarez
So Disasi off to Chelsea for £40m - tick that name off the list of links that didn't bear fruit. Also Sanchez about to rock up from Brentford for another £25-30m... Leaves Chelsea's Net spend over the last 12 months at £500m... £821m spent £320m recovered - surely unless they make some major sales this month there has to be and FFP investigation?
If they've amortised that £821m over 5 years then they are probably fine. The amount in wages they'd have got off the books to Saudi will give them a buffer. Of course they have to hope their new signings work otherwise they will have their fee on the books for the next 5 years restricting who they can bring in to replace any flops.
It'll already be getting looked at, but until they submit the finalise figures for the year, it won't be ratified.
I think we've still got at least one fairly high value permanent transfer, plus a couple of loans in us. So far I've not been considering the Chris Wood money or releases of Clark and Matty Longstaff... That free's up a bit in fees and wages.
Obviously hope all the best for the lad with us and will support his efforts 100%. Just a ton of money to be spent on the lad. I like this Harrison Ashby and would hope to see him covering for Tripps a bit, I think that lad has tons of potential. It's possible we are thinking Loveseatingmentos can be made into a LB? Who ****in' knows.
Has he really? I'll be honest I am well out of the loop. I've been workin' like a dog this week and haven't had time to chime into Munson's flood of tweets, sarcy comments and late 80s references. Will have to catch up.
The source that I was using for wages / squad cost has been updated and that has Sandro Tonali down as earning £210k a week
