Avoid the town in general. Plenty of other nice places to go.

Still feel like ****, so this definitely isn't/wasn't a hangover.

Barcelona wasn't a success. First part dominated by Mrs's mate having to store her luggage at the main station for her flight home.

Then moaning kids/shopping/moaning kids/food/tourist ****s/local ****s/slow walkers/people wandering round staring at phones.

Absolutely packed out, more so than I've ever seen it. Had a couple of nice drinks in a bar on the corner of a square off Ramblas but even then my Mrs's friends daughter just sat there and whined.

Finally packed them off home, thank ****, and walked down to the port, ate really ****e over priced food, kids then had a McD burger, which in hindsight we should all have ad it would have saved me €100, caught the train back.

Couldn't then get a taxi, so walked back down the beach to where we are, which is an extra 45 mins.

By that time I'd got the ****s, so was speed walking as best I could to not shart my pants.

Still feel rough today.

Never going back.

 

Cracking city when you don’t have women and kids to look after though.

First destination for my Mrs and daughter was Primark in Catalunya ffs. Was never going to be anything other than packed.

It felt overly busy yesterday.

 

Well yeah it’s important to visit the places you can’t visit at home. Primark

Was mobbed when I was there for a stag in April. More so than London I’d say. Every bar and restaurant and club rammed. Even the rippers was busy and it wasn’t a good one.
