Now they want to ban it in your car... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/healthnews/8891521/Smoking-in-cars-should-be-banned-doctors.html My view, people should be able to make their own informed decisions and we should stop all this interference from this second reading of the Private Members Bill. On a separate note, being cynical, I suppose now they are screwing motorists over on fuel costs, with no public protests. They can always add further additional taxes to fuel, to make up for any lost cigarette revenue once they get a complete outright ban in years to come, or maybe that already explains why fuel has been hit so heavily in the past decade.
The remark by Churchill about the NHS eventually needing some sort of Gestapo system has never been more true
there's no difference between banning it in your car and banning it in your own home. meddling ****s is what they are.
Smoking should be banned in all public places and then it's up to individuals if they want to ban it in their homes and cars like I have.
I haven't had a *** for 5 years, and don't really intend to go back to it now. However, every time I hear about the health police wanting to outlaw smoking, I feel like lighting up a foot long Cuban la-de-da and blowing a fat cloud of smoke in the faces of the interfering tossers who started all this crap.
i'm an ex smoker too...but i hate that they meddle in people's private business. Their car? FFS! The only problem with smoking in cars is that lighting up takes your eyes off the road...after that i can't see a problem as long as it isn't affecting anyone else... And as for fuel prices? don't get me going!
You should never smoke around children whether that be in your house or a car. Im a smoker myself but I have never smoked where my children are present. I always smoke outside.
just more meddling from ****s who dont know when to keep their nose out of peoples private business (and no i dont smoke)
Just on the cost of motoring, it seems like any time the government are short on cash they ask 'Where can we make more money?' and the answer is always 'Ah yes, let's screw the motorist with higher fuel and road tax or road tolls or parking charges'.
don't even get me started on that bollocks. tax on fatty foods is a disgrace. i thought we lived in a democracy? punishing the majority because of the irresponsible actions of a minority is disgusting. everything in moderation. i'm sure if i ate too much vegetables i'd eventually become a fat ****.
Nonsense. When I run out of ***s, I can always find some hidden in my son's bedroom. That's a well run household.
