TBH it's a bit odd that SSN are the first to report it. It's normally The Athletic who are on top of things and SSN just jump on the bandwagon. I wonder if Newcastle have leaked something here.
Judging by the way we have stood firm on other transfers, and the fact that there wasn't much noise from Tino pushing for a move, I am confident we will have got a very good fee. Anything over £30m is good IMO, especially after just 1 good season and the injuries.
It's presumably the replacement for Willy. So nothing to worry out. I suspect he'll never play - the next Stuart Taylor.

Agree, unbelievable fee considering the injury risk etc. He will eventually be worth that easily if he stays fit but… they are taking a risk at that price. One of those transfers which is a genuine win-win for all involved.
I'd say we're looking at around £20million profit on Tino once the initial £5million we paid for him and clauses are taken into account.

Bit unknown TBH after his knee injury. Before he did his ACL he was one of the most dynamic full backs in the league, very attacking minded but not bad defensively either. If he's as good as he was before his injury he'll turn into one of your best players as he'll only get better.
He is an unbelievable talent. Better than Luke Shaw was at the same age. Massive shame he got injured; we didn’t really see much of him to be honest! But in the few games we saw; he is going to be a star if he stays fit.
Not a bad profit after 30 games and a suspect injury record (sadly). Hope we have a sell on as well as if he stays healthy, could be worth a lot more in the future.
