Being transgender and performing drag are entirely different. The first is the real-world experience of individuals who live in alignment with the opposite sex from their biological reality to relieve acute discomfort. The latter are individuals who, separate from any particular gender identity, dress up and embody regressive exaggerations of femininity for the purpose of performance, personal enjoyment or making money. This doesn’t make drag bad, but suggesting that it helps children understand real-world gender expression just isn’t accurate.

Maybe we could export some of our diversity managers as a gesture of goodwill? That'd sort it. Numerous women in Manipur have been the victims of the growing unrest, which has claimed more than 140 lives and displaced 35,000 people. The clashes between members of the majority Meitei and the minority Kuki communities began around three months ago, after the Meitei were granted “Scheduled Tribe” status, meaning better access to jobs, education and land. The unrest in India’s north-eastern state of Manipur came to global attention two weeks ago when a video emerged showing two women being paraded naked through the street by a large group of men, before reportedly being dragged into a field and gang raped. The same fate almost befell Ms Chingthianniang, who was grabbed by a mob of men as she tried to escape her hometown amid the escalating violence in early May. The 29-year-old was fleeing by car with six members of her family, including a one-year-old, when they were attacked by a crowd of hundreds, she said. The mob pulled them out of the vehicle and began beating them, including the child. It was the last time she saw her husband and mother-in-law alive. ‘The mob paraded women naked through the streets of Manipur. They tried to do the same to me’ (msn.com)
A leading Met Police detective has been struck by a trend of increased 'ferocity' and 'excessive violence' in murders across London. Speaking to reporters at the Met Command Centre in Lambeth, Detective Chief Inspector Neil Cochlin said: "What we have really noticed is that the ferocity of the attacks can really be in excess of what you think is required." Explaining it in terms of knife crime, which accounts for over 60 per cent of killings in London this year, he said this meant seeing multiple stab wounds where police might previously have found one. There are 20 'well resourced' Murder Investigation Teams (MIT) across London, each with around 16 officers from a Detective Chief Inspector, two Detective Inspectors, two Detective Sergeants, 18 Detective Constables, one Police Constable, and a Senior Investigating Officer. Around 80 per cent of victims in London were male, while 46 per cent of those were white, 38 per cent were Black, 15 per cent were Asian, and three percent were North African or Arabic. London murders are getting even more brutal as top detective says 'excessive' violence way more than is needed to kill someone (msn.com)
To be fair to Trump if he was British he’d probably have a column in The Telegraph by now so we shouldn’t judge.
