I agree mate .. . pre-season games are most about building fitness and perhaps experimenting with different formations and combinations... means ****-all when the first ball is kicked in anger ...

He looked slow to react.

 

No mate ... looks like a kid but he's massive ... seems comfortable on the ball (only seen his debut against Northampton tbf) ...

 

He looked overweight when he was at Sunderland. He looked very good when he first came to the club but by Christmas he was turning in poor performances. Maybe it was just his age and fatigue was kicking in. He often got done for pace, that was his main weak spot.

Thats why I am trying to temper the expectations of some Chelsea fans who are starting to jack off over Jackson's pre season form.
If I recall Morata had a great pre season for Chelsea then turned **** once the season proper had started.

Tbf he was a bit hit and miss but he was on fire at the start of the season and wasnt that bad up to the end of Nov.

Then he turned into a ****ing pussy and should have been repositioned to head cheerleader because he was worse than having ten men on the field

 

Apparently we've now sold more ST's than we did last season which is a brilliant effort if true.
