My sentiment as well. If we were going for these it would surely point to Sulemana going and possibly Djenepo and/or Stuart Armstrong
Sulemana will be off soon, leaves only really Tella and perhaps Edozie decent enough. Say that Bobb and Manhoef are RWs with left feet. So I'd imagine it's one or the other.
And there's also, at present, Aribo and Djenepo, though for how long who knows. A 48 game season plus cups etc is a looong old slog though. Having exciting youngsters on rotation/being able to pick on form is obviously the ideal position to be in.
I absolutely agree, But for me we need to bringing in a wide player who would start every single game next season. I wouldn't want to overly be reliant the young lad.
Back to **** housing analogies. Taylor Wimpey are selling new build 3 Beds in Rownhams for 380k, if I offer them 300k and they reject and I tell them they need to compromise, what is the likely outcome…. In other words we don’t have to compromise **** do we? Especially since they are the ones who want to buy, rather than us actively looking to sell… Where is their leverage?
It all feels like regurgitated desperation by various Wet Spam 'ITK' posters because they know they don't have any leverage
Yeah - where is he getting the 40m as an expectation from? And does imply that they have bid less than this twice. So even more low ball than initially assumed
I believe he means they’ll guarantee the first £40m, which is our red line for cutting a deal. Just second language issues. The add-ons will climb that price towards £50m and should get it accepted.
