    It appears that Infosys have had significant IT business
    with BP, going back many years. So on that basis
    a new business deal between them is no surprise.

    However, now that Sunak is part of the machinery of govt,
    it would do no harm to BP and Infosys to openly
    declare/show that Sunak was not a decisive factor in
    the deal (and take the consequences therein if shown to
    be lying) .
