You seem to be ignoring the fact that the prices haven’t changed. All that has happened is that members don’t appear to have the option to choose which prices they can get. It could be simply rectified by having supporters specify max ticket price they will accept. They then assign tickets from most expensive down. People who have indicated a limit only enter the ballot when those tickets start to get assigned. People who have indicated no limit are in the ballot from the start. It means people with higher limits have a bit more chance of getting a ticket but that’s essentially the same with the queuing system previously. If you are willing to spend more there is a greater chance tickets might be left when you get to front of queue.
The good thing about the new system is that it will give all members the chance on here to claim they got tickets in the ballot to wind-up those who didn’t. Looks like you can go in the draw, get assigned a ticket and then just not pay if you can’t make it so that will be my modus operandi.
Especially after you created membership accounts for each of your servants to enhance your chances if getting a ticket. You might successfully get 50 tickets per match and then just say "Nah!".
