The prediction league is back for season 2023-2024. It's the same as last season and the season before that and the season before that! Win great prizes! Therefore each poster will be predicting the following for the stipulated games played by Swansea City in each calendar month: 1. Number of points gained in the month (Championship games only) 2. Number of goals scored (Championship and some FA Cup games and some EFL Cup games) 3. Number of goals conceded (Championship and some FA Cup games and some EFL Cup games) Rules 1. Only one entry per poster per month 2. Entries must be made by the kick-off time of the first game in each calendar month. Predictions received after this deadline will not count and you may still be charged. There will be no exceptions whatever your miserable excuse. 3. ONLY PREDICTIONS POSTED ON THE MONTHLY THREAD WILL BE ACCEPTED. Advance or repeat predictions are not allowed. 4. In the event of a game being postponed or abandoned, the month will be put on hold until the game has been re-arranged and played. 5. Entries should be made simply as 'X' points, 'Y' goals scored and 'Z' goals conceded where 'X', 'Y' and 'Z' shall be integers of your own choosing. 6. Scoring of points: Any person predicting the correct number of points gained will score 5 prediction points. Any person who predicts 1 point more or less than the correct number (+ or -) will score 3 prediction points. Any person who predicts 2 points more or less than the correct number (+ or -) will score 1 prediction point. The same scoring system will apply to goals scored and goals conceded. 7. I must admit my pre-season hasn't gone as well as I had hoped with a lack of sponsorship resulting in the pre-sason trip to La Manga being cancelled. I'll never forgive Liz Truss! I have just taken the trophy to Timpsons to get it engraved so may I wish you all the very best but I am not giving it up without a fight I think Nev might be a good bet this year so I am also going for 7 points.
