    This thread that keeps popping up is ****ing annoying.

    You can gauruntee a lot of people with an opinion on the lad have never even watched a full match with him playing.

    You cant be part of 30 goal partnership (and play in multiple positions that season) and be '****'.

    As other people have already said, he is pacey... he's just not obertan.

    £7m for a striker i nothing these days either.

    You cant sing and dance about Carr being a fantastic scout for certain players we have now and then bitch and moan about future signings we're apparently going for, if theyve went through the same person!

    I've seen a bit of him but not much, being sad enough to watch all the Euro leagues updates on the various sport channels. Yet to see him play a full game though. Must admit I only paid attention once we were linked. But as with any player we sign, I'm only interested in how they perform for us. As yet we have yet to see him in a black and white shirt. He may be absolute ****e, he may not. We'll just have to wait and see. I wouldn't go off a few youtube clips to make a final judgement, Albert Luque looked class!

    Great business sense to be sorting out deals now instead of sitting on their hands until mid January but I doubt the money has changed hands yet. Still 6-7 weeks away from Jan 1st and therefore a risk of him getting crocked before he arrives.

    I look forward to seeing him up front with Ba, people complain about a lack of pace up front but we play out wide then get it in the middle, so having height is a good thing.

    In fairness, that was Alan Shearer scoring 30 goals, and Chris Sutton standing like a numpty. Maiga was in a 30 goal partnership and scoring goals.
