Cheers Frenchie. The European Championships in which event take place annually in Salzburg every February ?
Just to fill in on some details here. It is held annually at Die Hohe Jagd & Fischerei in Salzburg on a yearly basis and is the biggest event of its kind Worldwide. The Americans have some sort of an equivalent held this year in Sioux Falls (South Dakota) and last year in Springfield (Missouri) in which they advertize it as open to competitors from throughout the USA and beyond - the rest of the World was probably miffed at being described as 'beyond' and largely stayed away from this. We have a good friend who has just moved to Salzburg and were there at the time - close by was the Austrian championship in Deer Calling (involving grown men blowing on horns and trying to make the calls of mating or grunting deer) being only vaguely interested in this we decided to attend the former event which was much more interesting than I thought it would be. There were of course many other things to do in Salzburg - luckily. This is all just to fill in on the info given previously !
The answer's 'b' (have another look) Anyway, a better question (probably) . . . . in the 80s which player became the third team captain in consecutive years to miss an F.A. Cup final ?
No . . . . our own Wilfy Rostron QPR skipper Glenn Roeder missed out in '82 and Brighton captain Steve Foster in '83 . . . . all three due to suspensions
Cheers Gordon. Another football one. When was the last time that both European Cup/Champions League finalists had no foreign players in their starting XI, and who were the teams ?
