I did that and it appears to have worked - I have one on my phone and daughters have one each on theirs
I think the colour reflects status i.e. yellow adult, I've got blue for an over 65. Don't know what other colours might be.
I've just received an email with my eticket thingy (23:42) and I'm scared to do anything with it Bedtime now so I'll ask a young bairn tomorrow, who'll probably do it in a few seconds
Just press on download to Apple wallet that’s if your on iPhone even I managed that’s how easy it was, can’t vouch for android tho
Mines arrived. For a technically incompetent bloke like me it was a piece of piss to put in wallet. I have remained patient throughout. I tend to get to ground a bit earlier than normal on Sunday. Back home in the Prem Concourse
A friend advised me yesterday about this . . . . I loaded one of last Saturday's tickets onto/into a google wallet that I didn't even have (the only options were apple & google), and it was gone into the ether ! I've 'always' had a Samsung wallet that I didn't know about, but that mustn't be compatible, so I downloaded/uploaded a google wallet yesterday, which is where my (yellow) season ticket is now (probably) My other three tickets are cards, which I collected from The Stadium yesterday, and that only took about 20 minutes . . . . a young lass came out of the office, took our details and then distributed them when they'd been printed. I particularly wanted to say this next bit . . . . as usual, the ticket office girls were very good/helpful
Just been reading on the Liverpool website about their digital tickets which I believe is the same system we know have. Their faqs clearly state that the qr code is the back up option if nfc fails or you don't have a compatible device but both options work and you don't need an nfc compatible device. It also mentions the ticket transferring is through the website with the same principle as ours should be. Basically someone at safc has ballsed our comms up, you don't need nfc compatability and the qr code is and will always be there as its needed as back up if nfc breaks down.
