Signing number Eleven !............ Pompey have signed 19 year old, 6' tall forward, Abu Kamara on a season long loan from Norwich City. He has played three times in the Championship for the Canaries, and last season he scored 13 goals in 15 matches in their Premier League 2 (Development) side. According to John Mousinho, he can play anywhere across the forward line, so presumably he can cover for the attack, as well as the left wing.
Pompey and Bristol Rovers are both interested in signing Glasgow Celtic's 20 year old, 6' 3" central defender Bosun Lawal, on a season long loan. The former Watford academy player has played for the Republic of Ireland Under 21's.
Academy forwards Destiny Ojo and Sam Folarin have both joined Poole Town on work experience loans, and left back Harvey Laidlaw has signed a similar loan with Gosport Borough.
Pompey are apparently interested in signing 21 year old Tino Anjorin from Chelsea on a season long loan. The 6' 1" attacking midfielder is well known to Pompey's assistant coach Jon Harley, who coached the player in Chelsea's academy. Dutch club FC Volendam and Reading are also keen to sign him. He has played on loan to both Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow and Huddersfield Town in the last two seasons, and has made one senior appearance for Chelsea. I have read that he has been spotted at Pompey's training ground end of last week, so fingers crossed we can get him onboard.
Signing number twelve is 23 year old goalkeeper 6' 3" Ryan Schofield, on a free transfer from Huddersfield Town, on a one year contract. He is a former England Under 20 international. He will be understudy to Will Norris, allowing the club to allow both Josh Oluwayemi and Toby Steward to go out on loan.
Former Pompey loanee centre half D'Shon Bernard has joined newly promoted Championship side Sheff. Wednesday on a free transfer from Man. Utd. We could have done with him this season, bit it wasn't to be !!

The 20-year-old is yet to make his senior debut for the Premier League champions but has featured for the club in the EFL Trophy. Australia international Robertson spent the first half of the 2021-22 campaign on loan with Ross County in the Scottish Premier League. "Alex is a dynamic attacking midfielder," boss John Mousinho said. "He comes here off the back of an excellent season with Manchester City's Under-21s. He's won the title there three years in a row and also recently got his first cap for Australia "We're really excited that we've been able to bring him to the club."
