Proboards has been partially down for hours. Many forums can't be accessed. ITTV (which has a very old address since it's been around about 13 years) does not seem to be affected. But Dick's forum can't be reached. I hope this is only a temporary thing. Proboards does have form for doing maintenance on Sundays. Time will tell I guess
Yes, it came back at about 9pm I think. When I first couldn't log in I feared the forum might have been closed. But a quick look at the Proboards help forum showed me a large number of forums were suffering the same problem. I assume now it was either a server problem or planned maintenance. I think the forums were locked out for three or four hours.
There is an open invitation which I've been asked to pass on for anyone here to join up over at Dick's forum I'm not asking anyone to 'defect' or change loyalty. That kind of silly jealousy I am happy to leave to others But I've always thought it's quite normal for fans to be members of several forums if they wish - it does no harm and gives opportunities for wider discussions with more fellow supporters. I'm a member on CL myself for instance, though I admit I only visit very occasionally. So have a think about it anyway chaps, everyone is welcome. Hope I haven't broken any Not606 rules by saying this As I've said, I never believe trying out new forums is an effort to poach members or hurt other forums. We're all Charlton supporters and the different CAFC forums should be on friendly terms, not competitors. Only those places that choose to be adversarial and adopt a siege mentality see others communities as rivals.
I joined Dick's last forum but then he closed it down. I'm occasionally on CL and Twitter(or X as it's now called), and that's enough.

Fair do's. Dick's last forum ran for over a year but it did disappear rather suddenly. I'll do all I can to make sure that doesn't happen again, but I do accept some folks might feel reluctant to contribute, in case history repeats itself. It's a standing invitation anyway. Pop by any time...
Sorry to hear your exiting Proboards profile & password won't let you in. I had a couple of accounts there (probably still do). One of them worked to let me into Dick's new forum. The other one I've forgotten the pass for.
