Their first season after the departure of Joau Pedro, who left for Brighton in May last year for a reported £5 million. They'll need Ismaïla Sarr, Vakoun Bayo and Ken Sema, among others, to chip in a lot more goals this season if they hope to achieve anything more than last season's 11th place. Having lived in Watford for four years, I can recommend the Thai food in The Nascott Arms, very close to Watford Juntion Station...really good food. As for us...I can't decide if we are doomed this season or I'll be pleasantly surprised. The signings we have made haven't got me particularly excited, and if Willock and Chair's form continues from last year, I think we'll struggle. We have a few players who can excel at this level, but I fear a few others who will struggle and might hold the team back from achieving anything more than mid table. I'll be interested to know, and part of the reason I have put this thread up super early, what do people realistically expect from this season? From the official site; Head-to-Head: Watford Victories: 53 Draws: 31 Losses: 33 Five Facts QPR have clinched more victories (51) against Watford than another Football League side In proximity, Loftus Road is the closest Championship stadium to Vicarage Road with just 12 miles between the two The R’s clinched a 3-0 victory over Watford in April 1987 courtesy of a hat-trick from Gary Bannister – a win that ended a run of five trips to Vicarage Road without victory QPR remain undefeated in their last four trips to Hertfordshire, winning three and drawing once Our first-ever Football League Division Three away game came at Vicarage Road in 1920, Jimmy Birch’s double securing the victory Enjoy if you are making the journey, and as always... ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
Let the pain commence ! Dave, midtable would be amazing and very well received. I'm afraid our squad looks like a League 1 side bar a couple, I fear it's gonna be a long struggle. Hope I'm wrong of course
Bastards aren’t even allowing Watford ST holders to buy additional tickets but I’m now officially a Watford fan with my very own Watford Fan ID. Come on you Horns.
Cycled it earlier this week. Less than an hour from Ealing so might do that if not chucking it down. COYRssss!
Got a dozen beers on this game with a Watford supporter Just remembered he owes me two dozen from last season so I can't lose
While I think we are awful and have a high chance of finishing last unless someone else goes bust I think to give us a more than 50% chance of bottom two is a bit much. A 62% chance of relegation so roughly 4/6.
