Apologies if it's already been posted (I haven't seen it on here). A couple of Rosenior's comments jump out for me: - Re. Tetteh leaving. "it was the right move for him, and to be honest, it's the right move for us as well." - Re. Connolly rejoining "... I think if he stays right, we work with him in the right way and he stays fit..." A few 'ifs' there! I hope to hell Rosenior is calling it right with him. ..... https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/benjamin-tetteh-hull-ligue-1-8639942
He’s a PR machine those few years presenting at Sky have turned him into a bit of a robot. Obviously knows what he’s talking about just is abit much at times. Still would rather this style then Shota
If Woods indeed is on big money and still has Championship interest, then that serves as a reminder of how much quality is actually in our squad. That a player who other clubs in our league want to bring in on presumably decent money as one of their summer signings, is dead wood to us. People talk as if we have a bottom half squad.
He has one year remaining but sporting is trying to terminate the contract. He earns 1.7 million euros per year
I seemed to remember Halmosi was regarded as one of the best left wingers in the Championship at the time, 8 goals and 12 assists in 43 appearances backs this up. He did flop, however we didn't just sign him because he played well against us.
Or, and here's a wild idea, you could stop watching/listening to interviews with him. It's the path to stress-free peaceful existence, and help reduce the tedious crap on this message board.
He was outstanding against us for Plymouth and I may be way off mark here, but don't you think that will have been when we first noticed him? Or do you think we just googled his name?
It won't have taken us long to notice him then, Plymouth was our opening game that season, so if he impressed us in the opener we had another 42 opportunities to watch him. It was a big fee for us at the time, despite it being our first ever Premier League season. I don't know if the fee and expectation had an effect on him, but I seem to remember him having one decent game and being completely anonymous the rest of the time.
Halmodi had a bad injury didn’t he and missed most the season? Then just went down the pan as did nearly everyone of that era. I remember a lot of excitement when we signed him.
https://videocelts.com/2023/07/blog...-linked-with-rapid-turkish-exit-to-hull-city/ Ryan Kent? Sounds like bull, but ya know, we're feeding on scraps here!
He made 25 appearances in his first season, but only four of them were starts. He didn't play because he didn't look up to, rather than because he was injured. He was our record signing at the time and there was a lot of excitement.
