• Chelsea's support, both at home and away from it, is dire.
• Chelsea village is abysmal.
• Leeds humiliated Chelsea 7-0.

And for the record, Ron Harris couldn't touch the likes of Billy Bremner, Eddie Gray, Hunter and the rest of Don Revie team. Harris was a hatchet man and had nothing on the talent of probably one of the great teams of the era. In those days it was Celtic, Liverpool and Leeds who ruled Britain.

Leeds are the worst supported single city club in Europe.

700k population and gates of 20000. Sheffield supports 40k every week, as does Sunderland newcastle Etc. must be a lot of man u tops in leeds

Their away support is ordinary. In the 70s and 80s they barely filled two pens at SB.

Man united filled four regularly, Liverpool three etc

It is hard to do that on 20k gates and when you have no European pedigree: the Fairs Cup had a one city one club rule so when Leeds won their 'trophy' big clubs like United and Liverpool were excluded from entering.

ONly one club from London was allowed to enter too
