Nunez looking sharp in pre season. Last year also scored a few so not getting carried away but 4 were in 1 game. This time he’s getting a goal a game. A year to settle, it wouldn’t surprise me if we went and scored 15-20 in the league this year.

 

very friendly lino flags Daka off when he'd a yard on and played through.

story of half is Leicester have focused on being a very compact 451 out of possession and playing short short short at the back.

First 10 they were in at will against us by breaking fast. we were very very very easy to play though and it is really worrying to see.

they've blown out and have coughed up easy ball to us in their own half since.

they are a proper championship side now, the quality to play out is lacking but new manager is insisting they do it.

we are quite away from where we need to be in terms of being compact and sharpness so a lot of work to be done still

 

if he stays fit. there should be no issue in scoring that. and no issue with 30 if he plays europa and you'd want to grab 10 there as a top player.

the only question is who really starts

 

Nunez seems to be playing centrally from what I’ve seen this pre season as well. Where we thought he was going to play but ended up left wing most of last season.

Him and Gakpo are very very different so I guess it’ll be a case of using them for specific teams/tactics. Nunez if we want to stretch the game in behind and gakpo if want someone to drop deep and be extra man in midfield.

Or maybe we’re going away from that deep 9 if we are playing a box 4 in midfield as have too many in the same spaces.

 

it's hard to know. I don't think gakpo does well against teams with a deep line. when it's 11 mena back gakpo is gone.

 

we've changed all outfield players.

disappointed in that.

when are we actually going to be ready for chelsea?

szobosklai is out though.

this is Leicester getting ready for next week when their season starts but they are jaded and they are palying short all the time.

we are pushed right up on them with no fear of a long ball really.

 

quite odd.

Doak could well solve the Salah problem.

 

serious pace there. just need experience.

it's very hard judge anything this half as Leicester are absolutely run out.

Szobozlai looks high intensity.

McConnell looks a neat player

tsimikas as inverted full back again.

very hard to know until Leicester release their bench

 

He plays like Salah, just get the ball and goes at his man, he's not going to play much but he's the only forward we have who is comfortable on that right side.

 

diaz nods in but gomez flagged off.

doak should have scored first anyway
