Comfortable on the ball, and described by Manchester City as a "incredibly technically gifted midfielder", Bobb has been compared to Argentine football legend Lionel Messi for his style of play.[10]

I would not have guessed that Oscar Bobb was Norwegian. Then again, I would not have guessed that Oscar Bobb was anything other than an FM newgen, because actual humans aren't generally named Oscar Bobb.

Reading further down this guy’s Twitter he says city want to sign a wide man whereas fans seem to think Bobb might get minutes due to Mahrez’s departure. It’s far more likely that they sign a replacement - but haven’t yet due to the market (see Pep commenting on Saudi Arabian clubs)

Online sources from both a scouting tweet and then transfermarkt suggest he can play multiple positions. The former says he mainly played in central midfield and centre forward last year. The latter says “attacking midfield” (which I usually interpret to mean old fashioned number 10), right wing and centre forward. The versatility will be useful and also make him more likely to get minutes

I like that the players we are linked with are versatile. Piroe is is apparently AM, RW and CF and Stewart both wide and central attack (I’d still like us to try and get both as the latter shouldn’t be expensive and is injured for a while. The versatility means they could theoretically all play)

A lot of money considering his contract situation. Although Cov got £20m for Gykores with 1 year left on his deal, so it seems to be the going rate.

That is the top end of the range. Maybe we can do a deal where is hits 20m if we get promoted. In which case it will be worth it. Does seem high though

Don’t see why we’d be moving for Piroe now unless one or more of strikers are close to a move, or he is one of the players patently waiting and we can’t wait for him any longer. Or I guess, our other targets have fallen through. If it wasn’t reliant on one of those things presumably we’d have made the move earlier in the window.
