Brilliant effort from our Aussies girls for their thumping 4-0 win against Canada.

England with a change of formation due to Walsh injury, and playing some of the best stuff of the tournament in first 35 mins. 2 goals and hit the post, dominating possession and really slick movement. Can see this system staying in place for the rest of the tournament !
Disallowed for an offside , that quite frankly was ridiculous. Still a superb 1st half performance.
There is a lot of talk that the USA Coach has no clue what he is doing and can't put together a cohesive side.
Defining "a lot of talk" as my wife keeps repeating it during every conversation.
I watched the game against Vietnam and didn't see anything to make me think they were going to win the world cup
I agree the USA did not look great. Japan against Spain was probably the most impressive win going into the knock-out rounds. Still so many teams that could win it. USA v Sweden will be worth watching.
