Some great bits of play, still lacking that cutting edge. Plenty of time to remedy it with 5 weeks left of the transfer window!
Understand that as an idea, but if the likes of Lavia will only play at 50%, I’d rather he wasn’t picked (despite clearly being part of our strongest team). Though saying that, I think he’ll be gone by Friday.
A very good run out and can see the continued improvement. Bad in goal makes a massive improvement distribution wise. As said already and something we have been saying since Ings left, we would be dangerous if we had players that could shoot and a striker who can score from the numerous opportunities we create Dread to think what our home support will make of this style of play, can see huffing and shouting to just get the ball forward early followed by the regular booing if we don’t win. Patience isn’t a virtue of our home support
Just got back. I thought we played very well against a strong opponent. Our build up is intricate and clever. Our wingers are all excellent- especially Amo-Ameyaw! Not sure why Stephens kicked one of their players or why we didn’t get a penalty for Edozie getting taken out in the first half. We have scored plenty in friendlies so I can take the blank slate. Most people around me seemed appreciative of the style of play!
Right, I haven't watched any of friendlies. Obviously, it's hard to tell before the season starts but are we looking better than last season? From the comments I read I sense some optimism which is refreshing... Hopefully we can keep it going!
