Just drove past the ticket office to get dropped off for the match and there is a canny queue and and ice cream van has turned up to make a few quid
Good, I'm glad people are getting sorted but they are cutting it fine. I would have hoped the tickets would have been in people's inboxes within 60 seconds of ordering
Biggest lines ever outside. They have just opened loads of turnstiles and let people in without checking any tickets as the scanners are not working
guess the technology failed then...at least when a bloke called in sick they could get another lad to man his turnstile, job sorted and flowing in a minute or two...wonder if a fair few turn up and hang at the end of the q's waiting to be let in for free? a 'little glitch' can be expected and excused but the amount stood waiting well after kick off was not a 'little' problem, while the club is improving massively there is still plenty to do.
Digital Ticketing Update - Important Information to 2023/24 Season Ticket Supporters. Sunderland AFC are encouraging all 2023-24 season ticket holders to ensure their e-ticketing information is up to date. To check if the correct email address is currently registered to your account, simply log in by clicking here. This email address should also be accessible on your smartphone, as this will be required when you enter the Stadium of Light using your digital season ticket. Digital season tickets will be dispatched from Monday and include a ‘download ticket’ link, which you must open on your smartphone to ensure it can be added to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay. Emails will be sent to the assigned owners of each season ticket, so if you have assigned season tickets to friends and family members, please ensure their email addresses are also up to date. If you do not have a smartphone, you can forward the email containing your digital ticket to a friend or family member that you are attending with - and they can download the ticket onto their smartphone for you to use when accessing the stadium.
