A couple I'll have a flutter on at Ascot on Saturday:

    (15:00) International Stakes:
Class-2 Heritage Handicap over the straight 7f. A right 'lotto' of a race this with 27-runners. Selection has to be Biggles who owes me nothing after winning the Bunbury Cup at Newmarket. Good-to-soft going suits him admirably and hopefully he'll run well. Ryan Moore on board again for the Ralph Beckett yard.
5/1 (Bet365/Wm.Hilll) best price at time of writing.
    ....................

(15:40) King George V1 & Queen Elizabeth Stakes
    :
Group-1 British Champions Series over 1m4f on soft ground.
An excellent and very strong field for this main event of the day. Quite honestly, have less a clue on the eventual winner than usual, but I'll go for the 3-year-old colt, and possible favourite, Auguste Rodin. Ryan Moore takes the ride for the mighty Aidan O'Brien stable.
3/1 best price in most places at time of writing.
    ....................

Win on each and e/w double.

    ....................

Have an enjoyable and successful day, folks! :emoticon-0167-beer:

Something beginning with "B" will win. That's the best I can come up with

Interesting the money coming for newcomer Timebar in the first. I wonder if that will continue tomorrow

A €2m yearling in the 16.15, looking for a 3 timer. By Dubawi out of a Dalakhani mare it will be interesting to see his Derby odds if he wins handsomely (likewise Sunway)

    16.50 Ascot. I think I'll go with the 2 "L"s

But I can't wait to see the KG. I'm sure there will be some disappointing performances. I just hope something wins impressively and there isn't a blanket finish. Arc betting afterwards will be interesting

Put a bet on it, it’s what Skybet have written up and is their selection too.

I took 20’s earlier this evening purely based on Hannons record in the race.

The question to ask about the King George is…
Like me, do you think Paddington is a better horse than Auguste Rodin?
Ryan Moore has also intimated so.
On that basis, I had a good each way bet on Emily Upjohn at 9/2.
It’s not a two horse race, of course, but I still feel the Epsom Derby’s form is dubious at best.
Overall, the race doesn’t match up as Britain’s all age premier race when compared to past races.
I also like Bopedro in the 3.00 at Ascot. Holly Doyle rides him again, and he ran a good third for her last time at Newmarket - after a good run previously at Ascot.

Not sure why Auguste Rodin is twice the price of King of Steel. I have no idea who might win this; I would like to see Emily Upjohn win well. The one I'm most interested in watching is Luxembourg to see if he could be an ew bet for the Arc

Over 12f? We don't know if Paddington will stay 12f in a strongly run race. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if the fav gets beaten. If he wins well, he could be the good'un Aiden thinks he is, and not the hype horse I thought he was

Have to agree with you Tam. One of the racing websites is billing it "A King George for the ages" - er, no its not.

Agree, somebody should tell the bookie-loving ITV presenters that this is so?

It’s very good, how often do you see six 120+ rated horses in one race in the UK?

Based on the clock, Sacred Angel would have won the first race by 8l+
