VIP Stes done these for the racing league for us ✅ Racing league, weren't fan of this last year but there was plenty of big winners Yarmouth- 19.00 alpine Sierra 16/1 EW Sir & 20.00 chauvelin 11/1 EW Start off with goldie's two runners on the card who make the long 700 plus mile round trip (alpine Sierra 19.00 & sir chauvelin 20.00). Sierra returned from a long break and a wind op to win comfortably over a 1m last month in a class 6 with all but three in that field winning since but he hasn't managed to back that up in higher classes since with his best effort coming two starts ago when runner up over 1m at Ayr earlier in the month but the winner off that was sparks fly who was going for the 6 timer so there is substance to that and he's in the same class here dropping to 7f for the first time off just 1lb higher. Chauvelin is yet to hit the ground running in three starts this year and has gone off double figure odds but he's now 2lb below his last winning mark and he's paced in class 2 races off of higher marks, probably been vulnerable to younger legs in his last few starts but this looks more his race and this 11 year old could run well. 2030 cumulonimbus 11/2 EW The only course & distance winner in the field and arrives in decent form having won two of his four starts this year, only third lto over a furlong further than this at Haydock but he weren't beaten far there and the drop back in trip I thinks a plus, he's only 1lb higher here with conditions in his favour and frankies in the saddle, worth chancing and you can just about get eachway.
VIP Friday Stes well prepared for us tomorrow with two early tips 1 point wins 1610 ascot- scintillante 10/3 This looks a good opportunity for scintillante to follow up here after winning over 1m 4f at chester earlier in the month, the form of his first two career starts last year stack up nicely and although a beaten favourite on his first couple of starts this year after a break he's improved with every run and a 4lb rise for that latest effort could be lenient if he is to improve further which I think he will, Hayley Turner retains the ride and I think he's the one to beat as long as the ground don't get to soft. 1915 York- Queen for you 4/1 Can make a case for a few in this with long ago going for the hatrick and sparks fly who's going for the 7 timer! The former is probably over priced and worth ago with Murphy in the saddle but sparks fly I think will lose her winning streak here now stepping up into listed company if she doesn't then they've done some job with her, It's the daughter of Frankel though Queen for you that I fancy most here, she won a class 2 on debut at Ascot comfortably over a 1m in May and showed promise nto when runner up over 7f here stepping up to listed company with the winner of that sounds of heaven who I rate very highly then finishing ahead of us again in third in the group 1 coronation stakes last week, that was a big step up for are selection who was having just her third career start and the runner up has since finished second to nashwa in a group 1, back in listed company here and I think she'll find this much easier with the step up in trip looking to suit and Halvin retaining the ride for yard with a good record in this. Will have a eachway posted later
