I am well pleased with all our new signings, especially Hirst. And Omari Hutchinson looks to have got off to a good start. Anyone else think all these games before the Off are that important? I mean 3 games in 5 days and we have lost 2 of them ffs! I know we need minutes in legs and all that, but already 2 injuries for Morsy and Luongo, and we play up Sunderland and in a few weeks! I imagine the backroom boys and medicos already have their hands full!

Was there last night..definitely the better team for most of the game, and looked comfortable for the most part. Not sure if that was a strong Luton team, if it was, then can see them being one of, if not the lowest, points scorers ever.
We can’t really judge Luton on last night. Both sides left plenty in the tank. They forced a high tempo early on and Town coped well. After half time, it was all a bit messy, various players getting a run out.

First half we looked overawed, barely put 3 passes together and we let them dominate, without causing us trouble. Second half much better, good crisp passing, few tasty challenges from morsy, and an excellent goal from Hirst. Good learning experience against a champions league team.
Not sure about Ball.....positional play not great imo - gets caught out too much. Will struggle against proper wingers, but against standard left midfielders will be ok
Tbh Ive not been too impressed with Harry Clark either, I liked the look of Ball, yeah he has more to learn but physically I think he has looked good

Not harsh at all, can't even do the basics right. Piss poor imo and Bremen had their better players play against Leipzig Whick of these will start next week?? Maybe Burgess and Taylor, that's if we don't sign anyone else. I like Leigh but he ain't gonna come in over Leif, I would play him left side of centre defence, good in the air, big, strong, mobile and technically better than Burgess!! Good goal btw, slightly better this half
I get what your saying stretchy but the likes of Evans and Edwards should be pushing to be 8n the starting 11 and they are way off it
