On Saturday I was mostly in the tractor doing pasture work.
On Sunday I was mostly in the tractor mucking out the shed.
Today I have mostly been in the tractor trying to fix it.

A bush fix from 2 years ago finally gave up totally just as I was finishing mucking out. Left me stuck in forward gears. The issue being, once I turned it off I wouldn't be able to start it again as it has to be in neutral.
Thinking on my feet (well my @rse actually as I had to keep the clutch depressed), I phoned mrs remote who was sorting the goats. She opened a gate into a field so I could do a big loop, get it pointed the right way and in the shed so I'd be out of the elements today.
Floor out of tractor to get at the gearbox this afternoon. Got the offending item out, once I worked out how (good old internet) and managed to get the tractor into neutral with a screw driver. At least I can start it now.
Provisionally sourced the part on the internet about 15 miles away. £17. Happy days. If they have one in stock, I'll pop down for it. About an hour to get it installed, half an hour to get the floor back in and good to go. Hopefully.

    Another icon gone.

    Jane Birkin at 76.

Memories of much enthusiastic smooching to Je t'aime back in the 70's. You had to be there to know what I mean.

    Women's World Cup.

Alex Scott. Would you? I would. Even though it is said she bats for both sides.

Depends on which Alex Scott you are referring to... not sure I fancy the Wurzle Wonder Kid, but the other one... only if Mrs Brizzle said I could...

I did qualify it by my first line and also "she" bats for both sides. Unless if course the wurzel identifies as either?

So then, name the UK footballer whose first and second names are both countries.

    On holidays in mid wales.
Trout and grayling fishing this week.
Heard nothing from daughter so asume all is good.
Concreting the shed floor next week, so expect a building update.
Been waiting for 3 weeks for a date from the concreting guy.
He's finally bored of me hastling him. He's going to sort it to shut me up. Result.
