    Cairney is a top championship player but never been convinced by him in the PL so hes def a realistic signing

    Its just wages that make it a possible unrealistic transfer

    He will be in the 1st team for sure but can tell they rate him highly if on a 5 yr deal

    Agree mate. You see it at times where a player is missing and some players have the look of missing somebody. I think we have lads here though who are stronger than that mentally. Cairney doesnt look the type of lad who would play the big star role, but who knows. Sometimes it is the fans who make a fuss about main players not being there. I remember wembley 92 goading liverpool over Barnes being missing <doh>

    Looks pretty robust, should be more or less ready physically at least. Watched a highlights video and he was on the wing quite a bit, looks like a versatile player.

    Actually I agree. It did come across a bit like we need a big superstar. But I do think we need one or two experienced men in front of the defence who can do the dirty work when required. The balance is just a little bit too much towards flair atm.
    I’m sure whatever we get it will be brilliant.
