Well, on the one hand I want England to run through this slow scoring mob like a hot knife through butter tomorrow morning, blast another quick 300 and have them batting again tomorrow evening….. …on the other I’d like to see some cricket on Sunday. So pretty even after the first innings will do fine.
If England had sent us in and bowled, l think the result for the day would've been the same. Good choice to bowl first.
Just 54 runs in the session, that's an awful strike rate scoring at little over 2 runs an over........ Obviously playing for the draw and no intention of going for the win, paying public deserve better.........
Sorry mate, but no way would you have scored as many runs in the same time. Maybe over a day and a half. Stunning. Why didn’t Bairstow move an inch? Surely it was his catch?
If we were playing a 54.5 over game England would have just won by 153 runs. This ‘don’t worry about scoring’ approach only works against Bazball if you don’t lose any wickets.
Bloody good session for England..... 5 wickets and only 71 runs conceded........ Aussies a mile behind and only 5 overs to new ball due...... C'mon lads knock em over, a lead of 50 - 60 would be very useful........
