Tetteh sale is in both our interests I think, we can't afford to pay someone who'll play less than half a season, and he maybe rightly sees himself at a higher level. If we can get a fee for him then fair play
his twitter profile says he's a footballer for Hull City I dont know whether that is because it's up to date or it's old
I bought one outside the arena after watching Elbow in 2013 for £5. Still got it- it’s in great condition!!
https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/acun-ilicali-tetteh-hull-city-8634808 Nominal fee for Tetteh (What's the point?) But Connolly on a permanent is positive news and leaves the door open for more loans
"In the last few days, I've heard a lot of our fans worrying about financial fair play. I want to say that we don't have a financial fair play problem," Ilicali told Hull Live. "Tetteh leaving has nothing to do with that. He made it clear that he wanted to leave and go to France because of some issues which have been having an impact on him. "Liam and his staff have sanctioned his exit and believe they can deal with him leaving the squad, so we have allowed him to go with our blessing. "We will get a small amount of money for him, but it's not about that. We showed him our support in making the move happen and we did not ask for big money. "Me and Liam always want to continue with the players who want to be with us and give us their full efforts. If any player does not want to be here then that is fine, I will not blame the player because this is life, everybody has their own feelings and reasons. "We want to continue with dedicated players who are fully focused on winning with our team. Tetteh is a fantastic guy, I love him, for me, he's a very important person but the minute he said he wanted to leave, we had no other option." It's understood Rosenior has sanctioned the departure of at least two members of his squad as he looks to reduce the number of players at his disposal, which currently stands at 27. "I want to say to the fans that we are about to make a team exactly as Liam wants. We will have three or four more signings and when you look at the team, we are covering the areas Liam wants to improve, and I think he's very happy. "I expect some players to leave that Liam doesn't see as part of his plans because he wants a smaller squad with his kind of players, it will be his decision who goes, but those decisions have nothing to do with financial fair play. Liam wants a good squad with a certain amount of players." On Darlow: "It has been written that Newcastle are not getting a big amount of money for him. His salary can only be paid by clubs with parachute money," he continued. "Darlow is a very good goalkeeper but we didn't think it was reasonable to spend the money he would command when we could bring in three good players for that. "Liam is very satisfied with Matt Ingram. Our goalkeeping coach (Barry Richardson) and Liam are both very happy with Matt so we are calm about the situation."
On his fee we have. Depends what Acun calls a 'small amount of money' as to how much wages are offset, but we'd be spending the wages elsewhere anyway and it frees up his projected wages to reinvest. I don't see how you can make the argument he's been a profligate signing. He contributed when he was fit.
