Wow, Woakes didn't know he'd hit that.

 

I've backed Harry Brook to be England's top 1st innings scorer but I'll be happy enough if one of these two beats him.

 

Wood bowled by Joe 90 slogging for 28. Handy innings again from him. We could do with another 50 runs if possible. Hopefully we hold our catches when we bowl unlike the Aussies have for a change !

 

Broad throws his wicket away. We better use these conditions when we bowl !

 

Woakes caught on the boundary for 36. 283 all out. We need a few wickets tonight under these conditions. Big rest of the day coming up, could well shape the course of the match. Lets hold on to our catches when they come !

Over to the bowlers.... still 30 odd overs to be bowled... 3 or 4 down for around 80 runs or so by close would be a decent day's work for England....

Warner clips down leg side and Bairstow just gets tip of the glove to it. Would've been sensational catch. 15-0. We need early wickets

 

Just leaving work, a couple of wickets by the time I get home would be greatly appreciated..... half an hour or so to do the deed....

 

Jimmy not bowling well again, should've gone with Tongue in my opinion. Need to get Woakes on while the balls doing something
