Looks like the weather is fine for the Friday and Sunday - the days I'm going - but a bit of rain around on the other days. We'll only need 3 days anyway.
Convicts lost 1 test match of the last 9 ashes tests. It's good to be lucky - and to retain the ashes. Hopefully there's good weather and another good test match. I'd still like us to win the toss for a change.
C'mon lads..... metaphorically speaking let's beat the sh1te out of the Aussies and make the series scoreline more of a reflection of the actual cricket played..... it would be a travesty if they won the series....
Cummins has opted to bowl but I think it's more to do with not letting England chase, as they prefer to. Plus England's bowlers would likely get more out of these conditions than Australia's.
If we score 350-400 today, weather permitting, they will be crapping it. And that’s a business as usual score for us now.

They'll always say it's not a dead rubber but if they lose they'll also say they did the job and retained the ashes. Same as England would.
They want to win the series. Retaining the Ashes by drawing a series you should probably have lost will mean a lot less.

Depends on your view stroller. If the goal is to retain the ashes then we've won. If the goal is to win the series it's true we haven't won anything but we are the only team that can win it.
