Every single one of these lists is made up, some may be more accurate than others, but only by accident or being better at guessing.
I had heard it was the latter and due to increase in years 3 and 4 of his contract. I can see the club looking to move him on if there was any interest.
Not trying to get all Castro on people's anuses, but even if we matched Darlow's demands, players like him would naturally pick Leeds over us 9/10.
It was 2020-21 when we had 162 staff and wages of £7.5m The figures for 2021-22 (half Allam; half Acun) were when we had 189 staff and wages of £11.3m
Some people are paid a lot less than people imagine Just look at Mane at Liverpool and Mount at Chelsea
When the owner pushes to sign someone like Sinik for close to £4 million and the kid has barely played for us and has now missed yet another full pre-season due to lack of fitness, you’re absolutely right that I will criticise the owner. I’ll also criticise the manager when it’s warranted. Think of it like the Mossad’s Tenth Man Doctrine. If 9 people have their head in the sand and think everything’s great, I’ll raise my concerns of why I don’t think it’s great.
You of all people Pete, should know it's all about money. I'm sure if the owner/club was flush with money, or was prepared to spend shed loads of money, Karl Darlow would be having a medical at City today and not Leeds. Acun got his fingers burnt this time last year and we are now paying the price, simply, we are skint, at our limit, and we have to juggle with what we have.
i thought that was way over the top for those players but the overall bill doesn’t look too bad on that viewing. Like most have said though who knows how accurate it is.
i still don’t understand this….last summer we spunked the KLP fee, how much money has. Acun actually put in?? Not that much I would argue
I have a very reliable source for the wages of Allahyar and can absolutely confirm that he’s on £20k a week.
The thing that's harming us the most is income, as a club we just don't generate much at all... It's better then it was under the Allams, but it's was hardly difficult to improve on that. We just need crowds in, people spending and cooperate tie ups, Acun is doing everything he can to tempt his billionaire friend to get involved more and more. But some of the things I'm hearing could cause us issues ( think over inflated sponsorship deals etc ) with the EFL etc
It will be interesting when the next accounts are posted and we hopefully find out how much of the KLP fee the club actually got.
of course money is important we seem to be making some bad decisions we seem to bring people in with no idea whether they are any good and then balk at getting somebody who we know is good
