I know we've got one pre-season game left but we're just over a week away from the start of the season so I thought I'd create the first match thread of the season. Buzzing for the start of the new season TBH. Shame I can't be there as I was planning to go but at least I can watch on the box. I love the fact we will have nearly 3,000 fans there next week - top, top away support. Sure it will give Martin and the players a huge boost. Really need a positive start to the season so 3 points needed here! Hope the current manager's selection is more coherent than the previous incumbent's balls in the bag methord.

Yep, I like that team. Tino and Charles will become first-teamers very early in the season but there is no need to rush them into it. Gonna be a long season. Only player I'd change is Sulemana. Doesn't seem to be doing much during preseason. I'd go with one of the Armstrongs, and then bring Edozie or Sam-Amo on later in the game.
I knew I'd miss someone Tino or KWP at RB then, other on the bench Too many subs now, how many are we allowed? 9?
That's reasonable We need a mix of experience and youth to start The Stu type of experience that is, not the Ely type Whoops! I missed Edozie too, so many options
Extra allocation of 500 sold out in 2 days. Looks like we’ve now taken a further 300, so if sell means we will have over 3000 for a Friday night game.
think that will be the GK and defenders. Have a feeling JWP will still be here as captain by next week and will ahead of Charles. Burnley seem to be pressing for Tella, so he might be off the team and can’t see us playing Tino that high up the pitch. I think the attacking four will be SAA, Charly A.Armstrong Adams
