I didn't realise Farage has claimed he has been refused a bank account by 10 banks! I did say originally that a refusal of a bank account can affect you actually getting a bank account anywhere. I suppose the government will have to get involved then, to relook at the rules, especially as we are moving towards a cashless society, so something has to change. I get why the rules exist, but as we move towards digital currency the current rules will become obsolete. I think the Tories suggestion of giving customers 3 months notice before closing an account, goes no where near close enough towards the changes that need to be made. Either that or they bring in legislation that states every business has to accept cash ( they won't), then Nigel can keep his millions under the mattress, just like the good ole days.

I get what you are saying, but you know my view regarding a cashless society, so yeah he's jumped on the bandwagon and he aint going to let go, but using your words yes 'it is a major issuse for' ME.
