So we have NEW OWNERS at last! when do we get a NetFlix mini-series? Is Thomas Sandgaard 100% gone? Or is he still connected to the Club in some tenuous but annoying way?
You need to post on here more often, you know more than us Next time you are in Brazil I'll get the beers in
Ivor's mate made all the right noises on the radio interview, nothing new there then. Let us see the player recruitment, that is the key.
I agree we're having a better window than expected, though expectations were very low after recent seasons. Seemingly it all began optimistically at Sunderland as well. So we may have to wait until around the end of the year before knowing whether we're being fooled again... If CAFC can A) Still be in the mix for a top 6 place come April next year B) Keep the same manager for a whole season things will be looking up
In truth I don't know nearly as much as many fans here and on other forums (my tactical savvy for instance is woeful. I'd never make it as a manager). But like all of us, I know what I like
I’m am neither a sheep or a sheep shagger - I have my own mind (just!) I think you’re getting influenced by your old chum Royston over on Dickies forum
It's always better to wait and see. Remember the celebrations, especially in CL, when we signed Charlie Kirk?
Indeed. If the new owners just let him get on with the job he'll do well. I'm particularly impressed with his willingness to learn.
Whilst last nights result looks good on paper, I just don’t think pre-season friendlies are any guide to how the real season will go. Even against a rival like Millwall. We are still well short of being a top two team but we do look stronger than last season, so might have a chance to scrape into the playoffs. With multiple multi-billionaire owners you’d think we should be able to push for top two. It’s supposedly what they and we all want, so time to splash some cash in these next 5 weeks.
Aren't there FFP rules to comply with though? Especially with the Valley still at least half empty. I don't know much about this stuff though. Gives me a headache just thinking about it.
Hopefully Charlie can start to earn his crust and increase our revenues from sources other than just season ticket/ticket sales. It’s what he says he’s good at and I have no reason to think otherwise.
