I've just watched this and thought it's worth sharing on here; it's pretty interesting to see how football has ended up where it is. It's a new channel but if they continue uploading videos like this it'll be one I'll be subscribing to. Anyway, if you watch it let me know what you think!
Something to celebrate, the first man to play at the women's World Cup. Well done to Fifa for initiating this "ground-breaking" move. Yet again, an under achieving sportsman decides he can compete better against women. No surprise that he plays for the Canadian women's team, 89 times so far. That's a lot of cheating. While many of sport's governing bodies are finally seeing the absurdity of men competing in woman's sport, typically football goes in the other direction. Needless to say the BBC are beside themselves, particularly reporter "Emma" Smith who is also a man pretending to be a woman. "Emma" doesn't mention the real women footballers who have lost out because a man has taken their place in the national team on 89 occasions. "We saw that versus Nigeria, how difficult it was to get anything going against the Canadian defence. I think he will stay in the line-up. Canada's defence is bread and butter, and Quinn is key to that." I'm sure he is, all it needs now is a few more Quinns in that Canadian defence and who knows what they can achieve? The more the merrier, Fifa, Canada and the BBC will be delighted. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66299441
Quinn's birth name is Rebecca Quinn, you incredibly silly person. The first time you actually used a trans person's preferred pronouns, and it's because you were too busy frothing at the mouth to bother Googling them.
Maybe ease up on the transphobic hate speech on this forum. We don’t tolerate any kind of prejudice., and yours is pretty blatant.
Transphobia is a made up description to silence people who talk out about a ridiculous belief that a man can change into a woman. It means nothing, there is no such thing. You can't transform from a man to a woman or vice versa, it defies belief that anyone would argue otherwise. Aren't you a scientist? You also need to look at the definition of hate speech before you make wild accusations. You could also look at free speech while you're there. "We don't tolerate any kind of prejudice". Now you're having a laugh, you tolerate any comment when it suits you.
Please yourself, but any further examples of transphobia will be deleted. I have several trans friends, and their journeys have been long and agonising, both mentally and physically. It defies belief, that anyone in this day and ge should think that anyone would want to go through such torment for frivolous reasons.
Have you considered taking up a new hobby rather than obsessing over other peoples' genitals? I hear pickleball is pretty fun.
Free speech doesn't mean you are allowed to say what ever bigoted nonsense you want without consequence or people calling you out on it. You are entitled to an opinion, you can express that opinion but when you do, people are allowed to respond and point out that what you are saying is bigoted and in this specific case, transphobic and hateful.
I wondered how long it would be until the censorship threat would be made. Yet again you are using your own personal beliefs to moderate this board. You are trying to silence me about something that is not an opinion, it's a fact. So now you are threatening to delete facts. There is no such thing as changing sex, if you want to believe it's possible, then fine, that's your opinion but it's not a fact. But unless you've discovered some up until now scientific secret, I'll stick with facts thanks. Somehow, along the great trans scam the truth has been put to one side. Although it is clearly impossible to change from one sex to another you have to lie or you will be accused of hate speech or some other made up label (or in this case cancelled). You are perpetuating this lie with your posts and you expect everyone else to go along with it.
My personal beliefs are based on my life experience and on the data I have accumulated from that experience. My friends who have changed their bodies to reflect their own gender are probably better equipped than I am to argue against you, but your position is they they basically don’t have a right to exist, and in my mind that is blatantly prejudice and constitutes hate speech. As NorfolkSaint says, quite correctly, you have a right to express your opinion, but if that crosses a line into hate speech, then it’s my job to point that out. I have, I hope, explained why your posts fall into that category.
How do I change from being white British to Jamaican aka Raheem Sterling? After all I feel and want to be Jamaican!!
Ides For me, you always have been Jamaican. There is no need to elaborate as it is clear from the vibes you give off when chatting in here that is The Man.
I know I exaggerate a bit, I was trying to lighten the mood a bit after reading several exchanges on here. |The reality is I have a lot of admiration for people from the West Indies and elsewhere as they have conributed and enriched our society in all manner of ways. From culinary cuisine, to music, sport, literature, fashion, dance, academia and politics. Add that to the gifts of people already here, that is a potent mix to produce the talents that we have already produced.
The real reason for posting in here was to mention the success of the Philippines Ladies football team this morning against New Zealand. Seeing that my partner is from the PH, I felt obliiged to mention it. A really good result for them, I think and hopefully it will make thegme more popular over there. Alot of their male counterparts have plied their trade in the UK.
I was disappointed to see that essentially their squad is made up of American born players. Yes I guess it's within the qualification rules, but that's my opinion.
Stereotypical name calling just because you don't agree. Bigoted X2, transphobic whatever that means, (it's a made up name used for shutting down opinions or facts in this case) and hateful, you've done well to pack them all into two sentences. The thing is with name calling is someone might call out anyone that believes a man can change his sex to a woman as a bit dense, a swivel eyed loon or even worse, sanctimonious. But that would add nothing. You don't give an explanation as to why it's bigoted to say a man can't change his sex, so I asked you this; Can a man change his sex to become a woman? If you do and you have no scientific evidence to back it up, then that is truly what bigoted means. When you say " you are entitled to an opinion" you might want to run that past Chilco first. He seems to have other ideas.
Yeah, there's an operation and everything. Medical professionals perform it using complicated procedures they learnt at medical school. It's amazing.
