If you really want the house, and want to get the deal done before anyone else comes in, then yes. You do.
To me, it's like if someone came and offered you £200k for your £300k house, when the ****er wasn't even up for sale in the estate agents
Since Klopp is coming then absolutely. Life and soul of the party. And if it doesn’t go well I expect he will blame the wind or the rain or something like that
Same as the second hand car I just got. It is very much a sellers market so trying to haggle seemed pointless
You are aware that Winchester is in Hampshire aren’t you ? As well as parts of the new forest including lyndhurst where I’m pretty sure that tiny town has both a Ferrari and Maserati garage
We never had the sign up, but when people started banging on the door, we decided to listen to offers...after looking on Zoopla and seeing how much some other similar houses are going for, we are not likely to accept the mickey mouse offer, so he's not really for sale, unless the offer is a proper one
To be fair the house has only been built this year, we don’t know if the foundations are going to last 10 years so it’s a risk to buy. It’s also surrounded by derelict houses
Exactly. Unless of course you’re in a hurray to get funds. To at said back to the footie I don’t blame Liverpool for their opening bid. I still don’t like the club but they haven’t done anything bad in my book. Yet.
There is below the asking price and then there is what we are finding this summer. Allegedly Newcastles opening bid for Livramento was £12m for example, a player we value at around £30m+ if reports are to go by. If I were to make an offer down on a 380k house, I might offer £360k initially, I wouldn’t offer £130k. Either way I already said I’d expect some negotiation, it’s the extent of the lowballing that is irritating… not that clubs are trying to get a favourable deal full stop. And I agree that Saints will have engaged in hard negotiation in the past, but I’m fairly confident we have a more ethical transfer policy than Newcastle, the Mara transfer last season was proof of that. Just to double down on the housing analogy, none of ours are on the market anyway but we are open to offers if someone wants to pay an amount that suits us.
On what planet is West Ham, about to start their third consecutive season in Europe having won a trophy a few months ago, a sideways step from Championship Southampton? It's probably the best he's going to get where he'll still get a fair bit of gametime.
