While you wonder why your bin hasn't been emptied on the allotted day or the pavement has that many loose and uneven paving slabs that you could trip over...our local mob have recently completed a complicated new cycle system right beside the town hall that took a ridiculous amount of time and money....of course the big wigs can look down from their office and admire the monstrosity that they created and glow in their new eco credentials and watch as a small number of actual cyclists use it,I can confirm that I live within 1 minute and regularly use the pedestrian paths to go to the centre of town, and the most infuriating thing about this claptrap is that unbelievably within 3 weeks finishing completion the workmen returned and re dug up approx 200 yards of nice red tarmac and replaced it with good old black! and then preceded to not replace the white dividing line nor the bike symbols ....so now presumably it isn't just for the phantom lycra clad pedalers,what a total bag of **** but if you challenge this then of course you'd be a either a climate change denier or at least a racistttttttttt
