This is why I don't get why, when or how agreeing terms with the player comes first. Surely that's just designed to try and unsettle them and push for a move more.
Negotiations for players can take weeks or months. What would the point of going through all of that and then sitting down with the players and finding out his demands are £50k/week more than you can afford?
Think we’ll end up getting around £40 million with some add on’s taking fee to around £45 million? Should also put in a big sell on clause as well as this boy could end up being worth double or more of what we’ll get with the way transfers are going
