the interesting part is that the first thing to happen is the agreement of the transfer fee! ...... £25m ... now the suitor may be coming in with an offer of £25m plus say x amount for appearances [ lge or international ] on going fee say 10% / 20% or 25% or??% but city happy with £25m and say 30% or differing add ons [ add ons maybe worth £5m over say 2 years/ 3 years ] so not just about the £25m!
is it like ebay...?! 8 secs to go and new bidder comes in at a £m or so higher! or agree's price and says .. "loan back"
its all a bit of variations on a theme, wheres he going to and for how mutch and when, i only hope he has really good people around him he is only 19 for gods sake, and when i think of myself at that age..full of piss, vinegar and attitude, well the mind boggles.
If Liverpool sell Henderson & Fabinho to Saudi clubs, which looks increasingly likely. I wonder if they may be interested in Scott as they will need reinforcements in that area?? That said, they bought the young lad from Fulham and he hasn’t played that much, so maybe not a good move from a playing time standpoint.
Not going to get the playing time at Liverpool, mid table team is more likely imo, if he excels then he’ll move to top 6, but not yet.
The prem is and has been littered with under 20's playing for top teams and doing well to boot, there is no reason AS couldnt do it.
I’m not sure he’s at that level yet. I also think top 6 teams will want to see how he copes in the PL before committing, it’s a lot of money for someone who’s only ever played in the championship.

Although the money is probably very good (for us and for him), Wolves or Bournemouth are probably far from his first choice of Premiership clubs to go to. He might get regular first team action there, but it's likely to be in teams that will struggle

This lad could be a good option? He is young, and did very well in L1 last season, so fits our recruitment criteria. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/b...ould-if-alex-scott-sale-goes-through-opinion/

We seem to be doing well in our "friendlies" with 2 more to come which are a bit more of a challenge? However looking through most of the other 23 teams dealings we seem to be snapping up less experienced players although they fit in. When a company [ I think Honda in Swindon was one ] takes on new employee's they had a system of not taking on people who were ex car makers [ other companies workers from same/similar industries or other plants, ]. The reasoning being they wished to start with a clean sheet of paper and fill it with what and how they wanted, previous employed people could have developed bad habits! City seem to be following this trend, [ was part of one of the old 5 pillars ] bring them in few bad habits and young enough to mould as needed. Other teams seem to be doing the opposite, buying in / loaning ready to play in a set position with experience players. BEARING IN MIND the prize next May is 3 from 24 being promoted makes it quite interesting with regard to those splashing the cash [ not in reciept of PP that is ] A young semi experienced team full of energy waiting to explode .... is that the plan? .. I just hope we hold on to AS as he is a key ......
