I assume that players who we may sign later in the window, will have been through pre season with their existing clubs, if fit. Just don't sign injured players.

I agree with what you say, I think some and even LR just believe Liams flannel and believe it’s what they see, rather than what they did see.
I don’t see how we are better in the final third than last season, which great chances did we miss to score 5,6,7 goals

Why does a chance have to be great for a player to do better? Tufan should be scoring the rebound from the 1 on 1 that should have been scored. Fleming’s pass should be better to Delap, there’s another, Delap should’ve done better when he dribbled through and tested the keeper. Allahyar should’ve done better when his shot rolled into the keepers hands. Tufan mucked up a few easy passes that could’ve put players through. They don’t have to be in the 6 yard box for it to be a great chance…

I should have won the lottery, I was only 5 numbers short
Surely to say you should have had 5.6.7 goals they have to be good chances

I do get your point but we created more than enough to score at least 3/4 yesterday. The players are getting the ball in good areas and they aren’t executing. Not enough focus on that for me instead focusing on how Rosenior is setting us up. We are already playing forward faster, less faffing at the back too, he’s adjusting to help us out, but the players aren’t executing

Man City currently losing 2-0 to Yokohama, the 2nd best team in the Japanese Premier League. I think their fans have already given up on the title this season

I just don’t see how we can say we should have scored 5,6,7 goals if we only hit the target 3 times (I haven’t seen the stats)

LR said he thought the team could get promoted without any signings….so why is it wrong to be disappointed if we dont take l2 teams apart, preseason or not

Pre-season results don’t matter but performances, either as a team or individually, do matter to an extent. If players look rusty or not bothered, they probably won’t be in the starting XI for the first game of the season. On current showing, Tetteh probably won’t start and Traoré might not either due to missing most of pre-season.

The wrong pre season though, won't be up to speed with Liams magic plan.

I'm happy with the defence - except goalkeeping cover and a worry that we only seem to have two right backs
I'm happy with Slater, Vaughan and Jarvis
Oscar doesnt seem to be given the chances he needs
Connolly, although a worry about his fitness, looks very determined and has an eye for goal
Jarvis is shown as a forward on our website but he seems to be playing more in a midfield position. Despite this he looks our most dangerous attacker.

You seem to have explained yourself why the chances were not good enough
I dont think the Tuffan 'chance' was that easy. The ball wasnt too near him and he was too wide of the goal.

Are you saying that it's good our manager talks rubbish after pre season games?
He doesnt have to criticise individuals but let's have some honesty

For someone who is quick to dismiss pre-season friendlies as absolute ****e.Your comparison between our result v Bradford and Sunderland's meaningless, absolutely ****e friendly against the same team is puzzling and contradictory...
