Barbie and Ken have to visit the human world and there, Ken realises that unlike in Barbieland, here he a hunky, handsome and confident man can get ahead and people love and respect him for just existing. BUt Barbie, a sexy, confident and friendly woman, does not - she's HATED. Especially by other women. Ignoring the fact that the actor, Margot Robbie, built her entire career from being a sexy, confident and friendly woman.

Ken, falls in love with "patriarchy" and attempts to get a job. He enters a hospital and tries to become a doctor. The female doctor tells him no, as he's not qualified ... He then attempts to go to a bank, who tell him the same thing. Which, kinda tells me there ... ISN'T a patriarchy. Except, when Ken says "BUT WHAT ABOUT THE PATRIARCHY" the bank manager replies "OH THERE IS ONE, WE JUST HIDE IT BETTER HERE." Actual dialogue.

The film is concluded by Ken turning Barbieland into the "Kendom." But a female saves the day, by listing a long, long, long list of things that sucks about being a woman and everyone cheers and the Kendom is returned to Barbieland. The final line is "you kens can have a political position, but not supreme court justice, how about ... I dunno, a congress seat?"

Again, a line from the final.

TLDR; Its cringe, don't recommend.

I didn't mind.

She wanted me to go with her to a theme park today with her fam and extended fam and received her "**** off n go alone"

We Own The Night - 7/10

Generally very good but didnt think much of the ending.
