Good workout for the lads. They looked very sharp in the first half. I hope Matete and Seelt are alright.
Eh? I’m sure TM said he might get on for the 3rd game. Maybe that was before they travelled to the US, and plans changed.
pleased this tour is over, staying up to watch them is annoying and by the looks of the lads they would not have been able to handle much more. good work-outs, experience and some hard training sessions, zak was struggling with his legs for a while probably from trying to keep up with the winger. got a nice weeks break afore the next one at home which should be a very good test, they need the rest as they looked really knackered and struggled to get going...TM got a few headaches coming up, new lads have done well, rigg has to be included, can see a fair few changes in the early games until he feels settled on a line up.
Feels like a good pre season so far. Good to integrate the new lads and the young uns,the performances have been encouraging.Good also to see KLD and JS there. Important couple of weeks coming up now.....we need to get the two or three in that we need, resolve the striker position,and it looks very much like we're ready to go!
I remember the last time we played a pre season in America and we lost every game and went on to have a shyte season. 3 wins out of 3 suggests to me we have alot to look forward to this season.
