Slater was played through 1 on 1, Delap probably should’ve scored, Vaughan fluffed a few. Seri hit the bar, Tufan should’ve scored. That’s just off the top of my head. The players aren’t executing, the way we are playing they should be doing more, for me anyway. Tufan’s final ball killed us a few times in really good areas. Think we could’ve done with smashing a side for confidence!

I didnt think the players believed that either
they must have their doubts about Liam when he says things like that
or it 'we dont care what he says - it's just nonsense'

Tufan’s, Slater’s one on one and Delaps were definitely not half chances, let’s not kid ourselves for the sake of not liking the style of football

Rosenior’s comments about being strong enough before we even signed anyone this summer was ridiculous and you could sense the awkwardness in the video when he said it. Even after signing Delap, Lokilo and Vinagre, we’re still a good defensive midfielder and goalkeeper shy of being anywhere near top 6.

Bradford beat play off Sunderland 2-0 3 days ago. Let’s not kid ourselves AGAIN, that pre season is some indication of how the season will go.

Simons has shown enough to chalk off a defensive midfielder for me, but goalkeeper and probably another winger away for sure.

Do you mean Tufan's chance when he put it slightly wide when he tried to hook his foot round the ball? That wasn't a good chance.
I cant remember Slater's because I saw so many half chances but no clear cut chances.

People complaining about no attacking etc etc, if that doesn’t apply to you that’s fine, but people are saying we don’t attack when we are creating good chances that the players aren’t finishing off.

I've not taken to this brand of football since day one. It lacks pace and urgency. People pay their hard earned sheets to be entertained. I get fed up with the stats of a couple of shots but nothing on target.

    I think we did attack.
We didnt create good chances and with the half chances we did create we didnt make the most of them.
Was Longman meant to play full back? It seems pointless. Surely there was somebody who else who would get more from playing in that position?
I dont understand the 20 minutes for a new team.
I liked the idea of giving both of our teams 60 minutes each like against Grimsby.
There must be other clubs who are open to that idea.

Of course we attack, but we really aren't creating "a **** load" of good chances that the strikers are somehow messing up.IWe create the odd good chance then a few half chances. Our play to and in the final third is so poor. And that's been the case even against lower league opposition. The only half game where we've really looked threatening was 2nd half v Gala ... against their academy. If we're honest even with the goal today the pull back from Delap wasn't meant for Slater! It was meant as a return pass but thankfully Slater was running in and nicely finished the wayward return.
And if you think Simon's is the answer to what we are missing in CM this coming season then sorry but you are being way too optimistic imo.
Hopefully we get Traore and at least a couple of new signings up to speed quickly and things start to look very different. But for now, just like last season, I'm not seeing it from Rosenior and I remain very much jury out. He talks well but it's wearing thin and we know, as some have been commenting on even today, that a fair bit of it is silly bs.

We’ve played a l2 team and we created half chances not many good chances. We played Grimsby and we didn’t look like a team that believes we cloud get promoted.
I get it’s preseason but at this stage we should be better if we a promotion contenders, you may think we created good chances but I don’t think we look like been able to do that at championship level. I hope you’re right….I just don’t see it at the minute.
I like the theory behind LR style, certain aspects just aren’t working

I think you’re looking too deeply into it. Sunderland were just beaten 2-0 by the same Bradford side. We were in complete control until TLT dropped the ball in the 6 yard box
